This accredited fitness instructor training program is ideal for those who teach or plan to teach senior fitness programs. While designed for instructors who will be teaching the evidence-based Geri-Fit® exercise program at licensed facilities such as senior centers, gyms, retirement communities, and yoga studios, it also provides a new skill set that instructors can use in their existing senior exercise programs and older adult personal fitness training. Candidates that pass the written and practical examination will receive a certificate that they have attended the Strength Training for Seniors coursed and are a Certified Geri-Fit® Instructors. This course is open to certified and non-certified instructors. Pre-certified instructors will receive .8CECs/CEUs towards their recertification requirements with the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Ladies 18 & over, Valley-Wide Sports Center opens up their Volleyball Courts on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00- 11:00 a.m. with childcare (all children attending must be in childcare). Come and enjoy great games, friends and fun on Tuesday and Thursdays. On Thursdays, courts will split by play level after 10:00 a.m. Join anytime, pay and register each day.

Hey football fans! Our next exciting Flag Football season is just around the corner. Valley-Wide Recreation will be offering a Youth Flag Football program for the fall for grades 3rd thru 8th. Don’t wait until it’s too late, sign-ups begin in July. Games are played Monday thru Saturday in San Jacinto, Hemet and or Diamond Valley Lake. Please review the Skills Day information.
